Never attempt to create a novel that is based on someone else's experience.Justifying your experiences. Your story must take into account your credibility and how others will respond to your story. It may be difficult for many of your readers to sympathize with you if they believe you were just making a mistake because you were drunk or high.Defining your future outline. A compelling story may seem to be just a recollection, but it is just a part of a story. Therefore, you must come up with an overall plan of what will happen in the future with your experiences.Forming a story. Now that you have a story of your experiences, you should think about how it is going to develop and end. When you come up with a story, start with a beginning, middle, and end.Always include your own words. Using another person's words can take away from your credibility and honesty. Always state your own name in the first paragraph and remember to always use your name. Remember, you want your reader to remember you.
